• Assessment inputs — anthropometry (age, sex, weight, height, waist), optional biochemistry (glucose, HbA1c, lipids, etc.), lifestyle questionnaire answers (sleep, activity, stress, nutrition). Processed locally in your browser for instant results.
• Waitlist email — if you choose to join the early-access list.
• Feedback / support messages — if you contact us.

2.2 Data collected automatically

• Usage analytics — anonymous aggregate metrics (page views, device type, country at country level) collected via privacy-friendly analytics without cross-site tracking cookies.
• Technical logs — server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging.

2.3 Data we do NOT collect

• We do not collect precise geolocation.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not use cross-site tracking cookies or fingerprinting.

3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR Art. 6)

• Consent — for waitlist email and any optional marketing communications.
• Performance of a contract / legitimate interest — for providing the assessment and improving the Service.
• Legal obligation — when required by applicable law.

4. How we use your data

• To compute and display your MetaSense assessment.
• To send transactional emails (waitlist confirmation, product updates if you opted in).
• To improve the Service (aggregate, anonymized usage patterns).
• To prevent abuse and respond to security incidents.

5. Processors we rely on

• Hosting — OVHcloud (EU data centers).
• Waitlist storage — Google Sheets (Google Workspace), used as a data processor.
• Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (provider details disclosed on request).
• Error monitoring — error telemetry service for bug diagnosis (no personal content, just stack traces).

All processors are bound by data processing agreements consistent with GDPR Art. 28.

6. International data transfers

Some processors (e.g. Google) may process data outside the EU/EEA. Transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and additional safeguards as required by GDPR Chapter V.

7. Retention

• Assessment inputs: processed in your browser — not stored on our servers unless you explicitly save a result.
• Waitlist email: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
• Server logs: up to 30 days.
• Aggregate analytics: up to 24 months, non-identifiable.

8. Your rights (GDPR Art. 15–22)

If you are in the EU, UK, or a jurisdiction with equivalent rights, you can:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate data.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Port your data to another service (structured, machine-readable format).
• Withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing.
• Lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

9. Cookies

MetaSense uses only essential storage (browser localStorage) to remember your disclaimer-consent state and session preferences. We do not use advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add optional cookies in the future, we will request consent via a cookie banner first.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures: HTTPS/TLS for all traffic, least-privilege access to production systems, limited employee access, regular patching. No system is 100% secure; please use strong, unique passwords for any account you create.

11. Children

MetaSense is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Medical disclaimer

MetaSense is a self-awareness and lifestyle-orientation tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. See the full disclaimer on each assessment page and consult a licensed physician before acting on any result.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
